“two bodies. moving. suspended in time. flowing in space. breathing. bewildered. feet rooted on invisible soil. groundless. hands fabricating the light that gives birth to hidden worlds. does life happen when we breathe? or does it happen only when suspension happens?”

The result of a meeting between these two creators in Porto in 2022, at the time of the presentation of Vera Mantero's solos at Serralves, this project brings together for the first time on stage, in an interdisciplinary creation, the choreographer and dancer Vera Mantero and Susana Santos Silva, composer and improviser. Both with a unique career and always working at the intersection of different artistic areas, this project gives us a rare opportunity to witness the intersection of their very particular imaginations.
