Miquelina and Miguel

by Miguel Pereira

The theme of memory and its loss (dementia) are the guiding threads of Miquelina and Miguel, where the choreographer Miguel Pereira seeks to rescue a new tragic-comic place between himself and his mother Miquelina. A delirious and tender encounter between the two, in which dance, the absurd and fragility are celebrated in a space of limitless freedom, in an attempt to contradict time and escape the inevitable.
