Alain Platel (Belgium), Wim Vandekeybus (Belgium), Vera Mantero (Portugal), Johanne Saunier (France), Caterina Sagna (Italy), Eric De Volder (Belgium) and Claudia Triozzi (Italy): seven icons of the performing arts direct striptease professionals in the ‘Nightshade’ project. These seven contemporary performance artists choreograph striptease acts, striptease as a form of dance, an erotic dance that evokes the game of seduction and beauty through the performers' naked and provocative bodies, to suggest to the audience an aesthetic approach outside the rules. The original music is by composer Ad Cominotto who, in constant collaboration with the choreographers, has created musical pieces for each of them, performed by Emanon Ensemble.
