There is no smoke without fire

 

An opportunity to get to know a show from the inside

A programme for young people to get to know contemporary performance creation, with meetings to analyse a new creation by one of the artists from O Rumo do Fumo.
Each edition of There is no smoke without fire is accompanied by a mentor, who will guide the sessions through observation and experimentation with various practices (body expression, analysis, critique and discussion).

Calendar of meetings

  1. Firewood: First meetings to analyse the materials (texts of intent, bibliographical research, sound, film)
  2. Sparkle: Rehearsals in the studio, sharing practices and discussing the rehearsal.
  3. Fire: Live performance in a public session
  4. Ashes: Final meetings and analysis of the show at school


Edition 2025

Partnership with Casa Pia de Lisboa, under the guidance of Daniel Pizzamiglio. An approach programme to contemporary performing arts for 8th graders at the Nuno Álvares Pereira Education and Development Centre / Casa Pia de Lisboa, with meetings to analyse C.C. (Crematistics and Counterforce), by Vera Mantero & Guests.
