Co-production O Rumo do Fumo / Vera Mantero
Por motivo de Força Maior is born out of a fascination with feminine rebellion and trembling. Not rebellion as confrontation, nor shivering as fear or hesitation, but rather as potencies to shake up certainties and systems. Drawing on Ursula K. Le Guin's speculative fabulation writing, three women artists from different generations coexist with other women – artists, fictional characters, mythological and archetypal figures – who are also rebels and tremor-makers.
