Vera Mantero - Matters. Forces. Imaginary: Monograph on the work of dancer, choreographer and performer Vera Mantero, seeks to contribute to the construction of a field of references, working tools and knowledge for dance. By revealing her creative processes and how they are inseparable from an ethical-aesthetic questioning of life, Vera Mantero has been developing a unique way of dancing/thinking that she proposes in her "Composition Scheme", a central tool in this work. Through conversations with artistic collaborators and texts by João dos Santos Martins, Daniel Tércio, Peter Pál Pelbart, Bojana Kunst and Ana Godinho, different meanings of the materials, forces and choreographic imagery of the creator come through in these pages.

The launch took place on 21 March 2024 at Casa do Comum. It had been presented by José Gil and had the speeches of Carla Oliveira, Ana Pais and Vera Mantero.
